June 2007 saw the club distribute 50 fish 5/6 ins long, consisting of Kohaku, Sanke, Showa and various other varieties
The competition was to grow the longest fish while maintaining the quality.
On the June meeting of the 18th 2008 the fish will be judged The meeting will be held in Alan and Lyn's garden at 19.00hrs
The prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
Longest in each of the four varieties.
Best quality in each of four varieties.
Grand Champion
The Members Champion.
All members on the night will have a vote to decide the Members Champion
Juges will be available on the night for all other decisions.
Special show bags will be available on the April/May club meetings see Graham or George
Fresh water and Oxygen will be available on the night
One fish only to a bag and the original photo to be brought along
Only fish brought to the section meeting will be judged, so make sure you get your bags and bring your fish along. The more the merrier.
Remember 19.00hrs or 7.00pm for those who don't have a twenty four hour clock don't be late.
By popular request there will be a similar competition this year the fish will be purchased and be ready for distribution on the same evening so make sure your name is down in the book to take part.
