Crouch Valley Annual General Meeting 2010

Wednesday 20th January saw the Crouch Valley hold their 2010 AGM at Laindon Community Centre and what an eventful evening I must say, all good of course even if it did end slightly past 11:00pm.
Annual General Meetings don’t always sound as if they are going to fill your evening with fun, but it was nice to see on this on this occasion that the evening went fairly politics free and overall a good night for the 56 members that kindly turned up for the night, so on that note I would like to thank all that attended.
As usual many items are covered at the AGM some of these items are financial matters, information about how the Clubs Auction’s went in 2009 and various other items like plans for the year and keeping Crouch Valley Koi Club up there as top club in 2010.
I think now is a good time to say a big thank you to the Committee for their hard work, thanks to the people that helped in other ways for the club like setting up raffles and merchandise and the equipment for both Auctions and Shows, and not forgetting the members for their time and efforts and continued support of the club.

Members were reminded to book their tickets with Ray for the 20th Anniversary Celbration on 13th March 2010, click here for more details.

At the meeting members were asked to sign up for the Holland Trip to give Ray an idea of how many members were interested. If you weren't at the meeting or didn't sign up and want to go please give Ray a ring to book your place. Other koi clubs have expressed an interest in joining up with on the trip and Ray will offer spare seats to them.
